Position

The Senior DevOps Engineer will have the chance to build from scratch the company’s DevOps strategy and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and will employ DevOps tools to improve the development team’s production.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the department’s strategy to achieve the company’s mission and core objectives
  • Mentor DevOps team members about new technologies, implementation and procedures
  • Follow policies, procedures and standards relating to the team
  • Communicate risk and progress to stakeholders
  • Create design, architecture and/or implementation documents for new built features, implement new features
  • Develop and review test automation
  • Deliver tasks accurately and on-time
  • Troubleshoot production issues

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent professional experience
  • Profound Linux expertise
  • Fully proficient with Docker
  • Extensive Kubernetes experience
  • Redis proficiency
  • Maintain Java web applications
  • Experience with cloud providers – Google Cloud a plus
  • PostgreSQL proficiency
  • Implement automation tools and framework (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, e.g. Git
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of English

Will be a plus

  • Nginx background
  • Spark/Flink background
  • Familiarity with Elastic Stack
